Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate financial strategies for the Society
- Implement financial objectives and plans for the Society and monitor the Society’s financial performance and control
- Ensure compliance with the statutory audits and financial reporting requirements of various funding bodies and relevant statutory boards as well as other regulatory and legal matters
- Drive business re-engineering and digitalization projects in the Society
- Oversee financial management, general administration, building services and information technology and coordinate with different services to achieve defined objectives of those functions
- Oversee Society’s information technology and works projects as assigned by the Director
- Prepare papers and reports to Society’s committees
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines
- At least 15 years relevant working experience in relevant areas with a minimum of 5 years of senior managerial experience or leadership position
- Professional accounting qualification: Certified Public Accountant or equivalent will be an advantage
- Prior exposure to NGO experience is preferred
- Good track record in driving changes and has demonstrated team leadership qualities
- Strong financial and project management skills
- Good leadership, staff management, negotiation, planning, organizing and problems solving skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese are required
